Okay, this one sounds in imitation of a scam. Even the say screams 2012 clickbait. But trust meReelSnatch plus is lowkey amazing.
I found it in some mysterious Reddit thread (buried considering 7 explanation deep under an ad for crypto). Its not on the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, later it acts subsequent to it saved but nada.

Interface looks once Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still… its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt instagram private photos viewer just allow us pull off this? I mean, TikTok lets you save subsequent to audio (sorta), but IG acts in imitation of Reels are nuclear start codes. Wild.

Its not. I tested it for two weeks. Didnt miss a single Reel. Even the ones I forgot I watched.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be ham it up This?
Ugh. Im torn. on one hand, I acquire it. We want to save that reel. take effect it to friends. Watch offline. most likely meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. suitably here’s my rule: I deserted download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.

Weird trick I found. You glue the Reel URL into IGReelTXT, and it spits out a .txt file like the audio link, thumbnail URL, and a hidden MP4 file link. Its considering IGs debug data or something.
